The kind of days you could have
Good days
- The crew finishes the day's work safely and the program is back on track
- A new worker you trained does something right without being told
- You solve a delivery or equipment problem before anyone else has noticed it
Hard days
- Rain turns the site to mud, and the program still has to be explained to the client
- A subcontractor turns up late and the crew standing around is costing the day
- You have to stop a job that people want to keep going because something is not safe
