Inspect and load an export container of frozen manufacturing beef
You are a loadout operator in the packing and loadout team.
What is going on
Order EX-26-2210 for Pacific Rim Provisions in the United States is 980 cartons of frozen 90 chemical lean manufacturing beef. The container arrives at dock 2 at 1 pm and the Packing and Loadout Manager has asked you to run the container inspection, supervise the pick against the loadout order and make sure every pallet has a probe temperature reading before it goes in. Product must stay at or below minus 18 degrees Celsius. The consignment data must be transferred to the export documentation system and the seal number recorded before the order is marked as loaded. Two containers were rejected at inspection last quarter, so the manager wants the inspection recorded properly whatever the outcome.
Subject: Container for EX-26-2210 booked for dock 2 at 1 pm
The Pacific Rim manufacturing beef container arrives at 1 pm today. I need you to run the container inspection, record it in the QA monitoring log, then supervise the pick and load of the 980 cartons against the loadout order. Product must stay at or below minus 18 degrees and every pallet needs a probe reading on the loadout sheet. Read the Export Compliance and Traceability Policy section on container inspection and sealing before you start. Seal number goes on the order before you mark it loaded.
Your brief
Inspect the container, pick and load the order to the loadout sheet with temperature checks, record the inspection and the seal in the systems, and confirm the order is eligible and ready for export documentation.
Work through it
You do not need to do it all. Doing a few of these will show you what the work is like. Your ticks and notes stay on this device.
