What is going on

Skin needling becomes a standard clinic service from 1 October and there is no written procedure. The Operations and Compliance Manager wants a controlled document in the Luxe format that sits under the Infection Control Policy, the Client Consultation and Consent Policy and the Instrument Cleaning, Sterilisation and Sharps Procedure. It must cover contraindications, consent, single-use cartridge handling, treatment parameters, aftercare and reaction management. To test it, a new skin client is booked with the Clinic Manager on 16 September for a full consultation, and an existing client is on visit two of a three-visit needling program with consent to be re-signed.

We are introducing skin needling as a standard clinic service from October and there is no written procedure yet. I want you to draft it in our controlled document format, using the Infection Control Policy, the Client Consultation and Consent Policy and the Sterilisation and Sharps Procedure as the parent documents. It needs contraindications, consent, single-use cartridge handling, aftercare and what to do if a client reacts. Then run a full consultation for the new skin client booked with Priyanka on 16 September so we can test the form against a real case.

Read the Infection Control Policy, the Client Consultation and Consent Policy and the Sterilisation and Sharps Procedure and list every requirement the new procedure must inherit.
Draft the Skin Needling Procedure with purpose, scope, contraindications, consultation and consent, equipment and single-use cartridges, treatment steps and parameters, aftercare, reactions and records, using must and will throughout.
Prepare the consultation for the new client booked on 16 September, using the Client Consultation and Consent Form, and record the health screen, contraindication check and consent in the Client Records.
Create a three-visit Skin and Hair Treatment Plan for the new client if she is suitable, or a documented referral or alternative if she is not, with pricing and intervals.
Update the existing needling client's record for visit two, confirming consent is re-signed on the day, the retinoid pause was observed and the cartridge lot recorded.
Confirm in the Stock and Product Register that needling cartridges, numbing product and aftercare stock are on hand for October and flag reorders.
Write a short cover note to the Operations and Compliance Manager explaining what the consultation test revealed about the draft and what you changed as a result.
