Coordinate the Sandringham bar front installation

What is going on

Bayside Hospitality Group has ordered a curved oak veneer bar front with brass inlay for its Sandringham venue (JO-26-1047), installing from 14 October on a builder's site with a mezzanine. The builder locks the program on 2 October and needs Craftline's safe work method statement, crew induction records and delivery plan before then. The bar front is being built in the cabinet factory in three sections and needs the large truck and a crane or lift for the mezzanine. Jarrah Thompson has asked you to own the coordination and the installation schedule entry, and to flag anything that could slip the date, including the CNC service on 12 and 13 October.

Your brief

Confirm site access, lifting, power and program with the builder, prepare a safe work method statement for the mezzanine work using the job safety analysis template, book the crew and truck, verify inductions, and enter a complete plan in the installation schedule with risks flagged for the coordinator.

• Read the job pack for JO-26-1047 and the customer service policy on site conduct, and list the site requirements the builder has already stated.
• Contact the builder's site supervisor to confirm access hours, lift or crane availability, power, storage and the site induction process, and record the answers in the job order notes.
• Prepare a safe work method statement for the mezzanine installation using the job safety analysis template, covering work above two metres, manual handling of curved sections and other trades.
• Book Crew 1 and the large truck in the installation schedule for 14 to 16 October and check the plant register for truck and lifting equipment service dates.
• Confirm every crew member has completed the builder's induction and holds a current construction induction card, and note any gaps in the training record.
• Review the production schedule against the CNC service dates and identify whether the bar sections will be complete, escalating any risk to Tomasz Wierzbicki.
• Write a one page coordination plan for Jarrah Thompson with dates, responsibilities, risks and the items still outstanding before the 2 October program lock.
