Complete the month end stocktake and raise reorders
You are a warehouse assistant.
What is going on
Month end stocktake is due for paper rack A and the press room ink store. Sam Whitlock is committed to the forklift on the count day and has asked you to do the count and reconcile it against the Paper and Consumables Stock system. Several items are near or below their reorder levels, including uncoated 120 gsm text stock that is needed for the cookbook reprint in October and process cyan ink that is already on order. Forklift 1 is tagged out, so any high pallets must be brought down by Sam on forklift 2 before you count them.
Subject: Stocktake of paper rack A and the ink store
Month end stocktake is due and I am on the forklift all Thursday. Can you count rack A and the press room ink store, reconcile against the stock system, flag anything below reorder level and raise what needs ordering with Renee. The uncoated 120 gsm is already showing low and the cookbook reprint will need it in October. Record the count dates in the system when you are done.
Your brief
Count the two areas safely, reconcile the counts with the stock system, correct the records, flag every item below its reorder level and prepare a reorder request for Renee Okafor with the reasons.
Work through it
You do not need to do it all. Doing a few of these will show you what the work is like. Your ticks and notes stay on this device.
What someone in this role would produce

Printing this is a record of what you explored. It is not a certificate or a qualification.
