What is going on

Brendan Foley, RC-115402, is to be transferred to the metropolitan remand centre on 16 September for a court matter in Sydney. He is medium classification with a current intelligence alert about associates outside the centre and a separation order from another prisoner. The drive is about three hours each way with one approved rest stop. The Escort and Movement Log shows movement MV-2026-1190 as Planned with no escort leader assigned. Escort accreditation for two of the day shift officers lapses at the end of the month. The Security and Intelligence Manager must approve high risk escorts and wants the file by 14 September.

I need the escort risk assessment done, the team and vehicle allocated, the route and rest stop planned and the movement in the Escort and Movement Log moved to Approved before Bao signs it off. Your brief

Complete the escort risk assessment and plan for movement MV-2026-1190 under the Escort and Transport Procedure, allocate an accredited team and vehicle, plan the route and rest stop and move the movement to Approved with the documentation ready for the manager's sign-off.

Review the prisoner's record in Offender Case Management for the intelligence alert, separation order and any medical or medication needs.
Complete the escort risk assessment covering classification, escape and violence history, destination security, route and timing, and set the restraint level and officer numbers.
Select the escort leader and officers from the Roster and Post Allocation system, checking escort accreditation is current on the day of travel.
Plan the route, the rest stop, radio check-in points and contingency actions for a vehicle breakdown or medical event.
Update movement MV-2026-1190 in the Escort and Movement Log with the escort leader, risk level and status Approved, with a note listing the documents attached.
Prepare a pre-departure checklist for the escort leader covering restraints, radios, documentation, medication and vehicle checks.
