What is going on

Insulated pantech body WO-26-0415 for Pinnacle Refrigerated Logistics moves onto the fit-out line on Monday. You will be fitting the roller door, the floor panels and the interior trim with the crew. Last week a fitter cut his hand positioning a floor panel by hand, and the manager has ruled that panels must be handled with the panel lifter and cut resistant gloves. The customer's refrigeration unit arrives on 15 September and the build is due on 2 October. Stores has a back order on amber marker lights, and the manager wants to hear about any missing or damaged component before the line stops rather than after.

Subject: Pantech fit-out for Pinnacle: doors, floor and trim

WO-26-0415 moves onto the fit-out line on Monday. You will be fitting the roller door, the floor panels and the interior trim with the crew. After the hand cut last week, floor panels must be positioned with the panel lifter and cut resistant gloves, no exceptions. Read the work order notes, check the components against the drawing, draw what you need from stores and record the stage progress. If any part is missing or damaged, tell me and Bec before the line stops, not after.

Your brief

Read the work order and the drawing, check the components against the drawing and the stock register, fit the door, floor and trim using the correct tools and safe handling methods, record progress on the work order and report any shortage before it stops the line.

Work through it

You do not need to do it all. Doing a few of these will show you what the work is like. Your ticks and notes stay on this device.
